It's been a long time since I've seen Futurama, but I remember finding that news reader funny, where each of his headlines referred to "puny earthlings" 😂
I understand your point about the deadlines. They work for some people, and they don't work for others. I'm one of those who can't do it, especially since I want to keep my Substack as a hobby.
I'm looking forward to seeing what you'll bring this year! It's admirable that you were able to keep up with writing when you have such a busy life. I thought my life was busy, but since you have kids, it must be a non-stop ride, so hats off to you, sir. Keep up the good work!
It's not that busy, I'm sure there are other people in the world with more hectic lives. It's just a little hard to sit down and focus for an hour or two in my home. Especially as my eldest thinks my really expensive laptop, which I do my writing on, is actually his and he takes to play his games on 😂
This is definitely a fun hobby for me though, really flexes my creative side a bit more. I'm looking forward to more too!
Just know that I would read each of those articles in a heartbeat. Especially the on SMB Wonder’s music - I also have fond memories of that soundtrack ☺️
You’ve done an awesome job building up this community to what it is today. As long as you’re still having fun with it, that’s the main thing. So whenever you’re ready to post, I know we’ll all be here to read it!
Love the Futurama nod ,and I am looking forward to what Late to the LAN Party publishes this year!

Community Engagement is in your name - "LAN Party" 😁
Ha ha! And it's completely ironic, since I have never participated in one 😂
Great reflections; and looking forward to your future updates!
Thank you, much appreciated!
I really, really enjoyed this! It gives perspective on your life away from the blog, an expectation of what to look forward too, and is very chill.
Thank you, I'm glad you liked it. I shall try to do more of these updates on a semi-regular basis

It is still fun to do this, thanks a lot!
